Tailoring (Tshemzo)
A tailor is someone who sews and crafts various types of garments, including monastic robes (kuthang), ceremonial attire (mothong drol), and ritual offering fabrics (choedzey darpjang). Tailoring also involves making clothing for high-ranking religious figures (lam and pon), as well as traditional garments for men and women in Bhutanese society. Tailors play an important role in preserving cultural and religious traditions by creating finely crafted and customized attire.
